The thought of studying abroad crosses most college students minds during their Undergrad or Grad experience. However, if you’re like me, going abroad for a semester wasn’t in the cards. There are other ways to enjoy the experiences of overseas study without the time commitment of a full semester, and with all of the comforts of a vacation. One such opportunity is University of Tennessee Professor and poet, Dr. Marilyn Kallet’s poetry writing workshop in Auvillar, France. This program is through the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and a link to their website can be found below.
For a writer, there really is no better place to work. It is truly impossible to not write in Auvillar.
